There are two affirmations today that I received, especially regarding my article yesterday entitled “God is My Supplier!”
First is the gospel from John 15: 1-8:
I believe that the gospel is an affirmation of my need for God. And my need for him transcends all aspects of my life, even in the area of conducting my business. And only in my continued attachment to the Lord will it be possible for me to be fruitful.
What I do realize even more is that more than being successful, we should desire to be fruitful. Success is a mere manifestation of our fruitfulness. And that fruitfulness is a product of God’s working in our lives.
If my enterprise is an enterprise of hope, I should keep myself focused on giving hope and helping people start anew. If people will be able to use that hope to rediscover themselves and their passions in ways that will make them more productive and fruitful, then my business has already borne fruit and succeeded.
The second is a Facebook video post from Bro. Shok Ariola of Couples for Christ. The resounding message is this: Attempt something so impossible that unless God is in it, it’s doomed to failure.
I find the message so striking as just this afternoon I was writing for my second e-book, setting a seemingly impossible goal by the end of the year. And in the early sections I wrote this:
To cap this determination, let me make this declaration: I will succeed because God wants me to be rich! He does not want me to be poor as poverty is not aligned to His state of abundance. God wants me to be more generous. He will give me the means to be more generous!
Our mission will always be to declare the goodness of the Lord in whatever undertaking. Even with the challenges that come our way, He will help us overcome.
I have received two very striking messages for today. I find them both overwhelming but rest confidently knowing that the Lord will always have His ways to purify my intentions.
Truly, with God nothing is impossible. And only with Him can we be fruitful and successful.
Be blessed and be a blessing!
