Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. - John 15:13
Hi! I am Rod
I am a husband to a very supportive and loving wife and a father to two beautiful children. We live a simple life.
I have a passion for writing. And it is my desire that as I share with you insights that I gain in my life's journey through writing, you would truly find them worthwhile. I look forward that they may serve as inspiration in your own life journey.
Be blessed and be a blessing.
I am currently working as a quantity surveyor in an international consultancy firm. For 14 years, I have been involved in various project assignments and I can honestly say that I have built a decent career through the company.
It was never my dream of remaining an employee for the rest of my life though. I have always dreamed of working in a company as a matter of choice and not as a matter of necessity.
But life is indeed filled with surprises and the chances for people to learn something new in their journey will always come.
For so long, I have always been seeking to learn something new. Just recently, I was able to join a team of experts that have helped me to learn new skills, relearn and rediscover my passions, and start a career that would help secure my family's future.
My decision to join a community that supports and encourages me to invest in my potentials and talents is something that I truly find life-changing. What I can tell you is this: you haven't missed the boat yet.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight
- Proverbs 3: 5-6
We love because he first loved us. - 1 John 4: 19
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. - Psalm 23:1
A new commandment I give unto you: That you love one another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
- John 13:34
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29: 11
As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. - Psalm 42: 1
